Dato’ Setia Haji Haris bin Kasim was appointed Chairman of Axcova in May 2025, bringing with him decades of distinguished service in public administration and state development. Formerly the Selangor State Secretary General, Dato’ Setia Haris played a pivotal role in shaping the governance, infrastructure, and digital transformation of Selangor. Throughout his tenure, he held key board positions in numerous prominent state-linked entities, including the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS), Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (KPS), Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB), Air Selangor, Perbadanan Kemajuan Pertanian Selangor (PKPS), Central Spectrum, Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Berhad (KHSB), and several other government-linked companies.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to public service, he was conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Dato’ Setia Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (S.S.I.S.) by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor.
