Hong Zi Shen founded Axcova in 2020 as a software development and IT consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University (2003) and a Master of Data Science from the University of Malaya (2022). He began his career as a C/C++ programmer, specialising in telecommunications solutions for global firms. From 2003 to 2016, he focused on the 3G and 4G telecommunications era, spending over a decade engaged in international business and forging strategic technology collaborations across major global hubs.

In 2016, Zi Shen co-founded AttreLogix, a pioneer in enterprise managed Wi-Fi solutions, serving high-profile clients such as Coffee Bean, Amway, UKM, UTP, Sirim, TM, BNM, and LLM. By 2023, AttreLogix had become Malaysia’s largest managed Wi-Fi solutions provider, with annual revenue approaching RM48 million. He also co-founded Axflix, an ERP and CRM solution provider for SMEs. After Axflix was acquired by ARB Berhad, it became the group’s IT division. As Executive Director, Zi Shen led IT projects exceeding RM1 billion since 2020 and played a key role in the spin-off and Nasdaq listing of ARB IOT in 2023, successfully raising RM25 million in its IPO. He is also one of the Directors of Bjak, one of Southeast Asia’s leading digital insurance platforms.

He currently serves as the President of the The Association of Graduates from Tsinghua University Malaysia (AGTHUM), fostering alumni engagement and cross-border collaboration between Malaysia and China.

Through Axcova, Zi Shen has led strategic investments and provided consulting services to various technology startups, including Agensi Pekerjaan ShangYa (HR and recruitment) and Care Passport (Digital Health Passport solutions). He remains actively involved in managing and scaling businesses across multiple industries, leveraging his technical expertise and entrepreneurial vision to drive innovation and growth.
